Brooklyn Research was invited by Vida Sabbaghi of COPE NYC to create an interactive installation as part of the group exhibition Respychling Nature at the Siao-Long Cultural Park Children’s Museum in Tainan, Taiwan. The exhibition opened on January 17th, 2020 and is slated to remain open until at least October 11th, 2020.

Taiwan: Big Picture is the result of a collaboration among Brooklyn Research members Johnny Lu, Geetha Pedapati, and Patrick Rummage. Through playful interactivity, Taiwan: Big Picture allows people to actively take part in reflecting and embodying nature.

Participants are presented with shapes that have taken nature eons to produce and asked to form digital silhouettes mimicking these shapes in an act of playful discovery and community building.
